2021.12.08 22:37 IhateThumbsOfDestiny Tiktok is a bio weapon.

Tiktok was made by North Korea a couple thousands years ago to kill the dinosaurs. Kim Jong Un and his friend Hitler rose to power after but Hitler got killed and it foiled Kims plans to take over the world but the damage has been done. Google cloud servers were filled with north Koreas bio weapon. This weapon is called tiktok. Tiktok is spread through ads and people who are infected by it. A person only has to inhale a few germs to get infected and it is very hard to cure. If you see a tiktoker stay away from them!

2021.12.08 22:37 foundfootagefan PSA: Please tell David and Joe to upgrade their slow, hot and obsolete Intel Macbook Pros to the new M1 Macbook Pros so we can get vlogs rendered and uploaded faster!

Remember on the Views podcast when David made a big deal of Natalie having a slow laptop when he has to borrow her old Macbook and even told her he'd buy her a new one?
Remember when David showed off his new iPhone 13 Max on his Instagram stories?
Why does he still have those shitty, slow, hot Intel Macbooks according to yesterday's story where he promised the vlog would be up today yet still isn't up?
If you regularly contact David, Joe or Natalie over social media, please tell them about how major companies are spending big bucks on upgrading to the new M1 Macbook Pros to save even more money on time, man hours, heat and energy costs when producing products and how the same can be done for David's vlogs! What do you get out of it? Faster vlog uploads!
Show them these articles to convince them to upgrade!

2021.12.08 22:37 wheekwheekmeow UL 12” min truss. Does 11.25” actual count?

I get that for joists a 2x12 would mean 11.25”x1.5”. Anyone know if this is for sure the case with an engineered parallel chord truss?

2021.12.08 22:37 belligerentzucchini Making vegetable broth from kitchen scraps

Wondering if anyone has tips for making vegetable broth with veggie scraps saved from other recipes…what is good to use and what should be avoided? I made one recently with scraps I saved in a freezer bag but it turned out somewhat bitter, I was able to salvage it by cutting with a little sugar and some seasonings but I’d like to avoid that next time if I can!

2021.12.08 22:37 baby_cakes12 Has R Bar on Congress reopened?

Last thing I heard was from a couple people standing outside R Bar (looked like they worked there) who said it was going to reopen in December. That was about a month ago.
Anyone know if it’s still reopening this month or has already?

2021.12.08 22:37 MoneyIsntRealGeorge Can someone please give me one good reason I should continue the Commonwealth series by Peter F. Hamilton?

Potential spoilers: I finished Pandora’s Star and I’m like 1/8th through Judas Unchained, and I really really want to like these books because I love PFH other series…but I just can’t get into this series.
First of all, there are WAYYYY too many characters, and it’s so hard to follow. Every two pages it’s like “X was from a prominent family”. I truly still have no idea who the main protagonist is. That first chapter with the Motiles and the immotiles made my head spin…There’s a lot of unnecessary sex stuff (don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind it but sometimes I’m just like lol ok did you have to mention that much detail there?). I should mention that I’m audiobooking these where I physically read his other books. But I never had an issue with Al Reynolds books for example.
And lastly, it’s just long. My god is it long. I feel like it could have been 1/3rd shorter.
So, is it worth finishing?

2021.12.08 22:37 RelativeEffective411 Christianity long train of thought, would love others views

First we know that God initially intended for the religion to be a personal relationship with him and us. A familial love and a dedication to that. However we also know that that changed with time. We know that Adam and Eve ate the apple and things progressed.
Second, we know that god often mentions in the Bible that we are not able to mentally fathom his own knowledge or understanding
Third, we know that we get the Jewish books of teaching in our Bible in the Old Testament and that Jesus was Jewish and did not set out to create a new religion but reform a current one.
Fourth, as state we know that God planned for the New Testament to be added later as the world progressed and changed. Exemplified by how the Old Testament asks us to sacrifice animals for initial sin, but sin became to great and that was not enough, so Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice.
Fifth, we know that again, initially the religion was relationship based, but the human kind couldn’t understand that and they wanted/ needed rules and direction, this led to the Ten Commandments.
Sixth, we then know that since Jesus was Jewish the initial “Christianity” was not really a religion more of an interpretation to the religion, and that Jews started to mockingly refer to Christ believers as Christ’s to mock them, but it stuck.
We know that these initial believers in Christ were Jewish people who also believed in the teachings of Jesus Christ and that the religions were fairly aligned, just one had an extension.
We then know that the Christian Bible did not start being written until about 40 years after death and was not completed for 2000 years.
Further, we know that the Bible has changed over time, this has been documented by king James, as well as the Dead Sea scrolls, the codex sinaiticus, and also by the fact that the Bible was not written as detailed step by step record but more of a cultural documentation of memories by groups of people who often left out contexts, and omitted words, sentences etc; It was not closely monitored, or organized. Concurrently, we know that since the Bible was written as a man account of first or secondary record we can conclude that in the 40 years in took to start writing it, and the 2000 years it took to finish, that 1. Personal memory would change the story, and 2. The time would cause a “telephone game” of “fable” effect, in which things are passed down But over time, they are changed by small factors until they’re completely different, especially over 2000 years.
Finally, we know that even if that is not the case for change, that it is clear that humans do not have the possible knowledge that is needed to understand God. We also know in life that there are three sides to every story, the truth, and then the two separate views of the participants.
With that being said my questions are:

  1. Wouldn’t it be fair to assume that there are parts of the Bible that are incorrect due to time and misremembering.
  2. Wouldn’t it be fair to assume that the deciples as some point must have interpreted somethings Jesus’ said wrong, or some lessons he taught as wrong. If they did not have the cognitive ability to fully understand him, as well as the emotional intelligence to process situations the same. How could we possible expect their interpretations to be fully correct?
  3. Next, if the religion was meant to solely be a personal relationship with God, And then the Ten Commandments were added. Why do Christians focus more on the teachings of why sin is bad, and how bad certain since are, instead of the true purpose which is to grow and connect with God.
  4. Finally, if god tells the disciples that he does not want them to be divided and instead to follow him. Why do Christians focus more on their personal religious identifications and less on the true religion. And why were the sects even allowed to be created when they go against his own preaching of not separating ?

2021.12.08 22:37 screening111 Integrated performance profiler for Unity?

Integrated performance profiler for Unity? I saw someone coding with C++ in Visual Studio who had to inspect application's performance and it looked something like this:
Which looks way better than this Unity's default profiler which also shows CPU execution time and RAM usage:
I found out that "Code Coverage" is a thing in Unity which has to be manually generated every time and opened manually in the browser but it provides how many times a function has been invoked, not how much CPU time it took to execute it, or how much memory it took to process a function.
I looked practically every single name for it but I can't find it. Does VSCode have something that allows me to profile performance of a Unity application? Preferably something that shows me the exactly line with CPU/RAM costs.
